Rum Slushies

Since National Rum Day coincided with our housewarming party, what better way to celebrate than with some easy & delicious rum slushies, recipe courtesy of our friend’s the Woodruffs (thanks for sharing!):


Pineapple slushy:

  • One 48oz can of pineapple juice
  • one de-thawed frozen can of lemonade
  • one fifth of white rum
  • one can of water using the frozen can of lemonade container

Mix together ingredients, then pour into zip lock freezer bags – Freeze for at least 24 hours.

When you pull them out of the freezer to serve, squish the bags around, as the alcohol tends to sink to the bottom of the bag.

Then scoop out into cup to serve with minced mint on top




Raspberry slushy:

Same recipe as above, but use frozen can of limeade and Simply Lemonade brand raspberry lemonade (but measure out 48oz)
