Up early to maximize our day in Napa (plus we had a 11:45 reservation at Bouchon). Stopped to get coffee, then hit the road north – it was a pretty easy drive from where we were, which left us time to do a lap around the Oxbow market before continuing to Yountville. Sadly the arepa shop wasn’t open yet, but there is a new Distillery.
Up in Yountville we sauntered around town a bit and enjoyed a couplebaked goods from the bakery before our lunch. I chose Chicken & waffles which were pretty delicious, not a surprise. I like Bouchon because the food is so solid but still pretty affordable and unpretentious even though it could be.
Next we hit up three wineries before giving into JS’s long-time recommendation of the pork chop at Mustards. I wasn’t hungry yet, but the boys shared a chop and a rabbit dish that…
