12 Days of Holiday Cocktails: Holiday Milk Punch

This one looks interesting – courtesy of The Soho.  “It’s like eggnog minus the egg” – perfect:

Holiday Milk Punch

2 cups milk
2 cups half-and-half
1 cup brandy or bourbon
1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish

In a bowl, whisk together milk, half-and-half, alcohol, sifted powdered sugar and vanilla. Serve over crushed ice or freeze for three to four hours until slushy. Top with freshly grated nutmeg. Makes four large servings.
