One of the original craft brews pubs of Canada, Spinnakers was a great spot to kick off vacation as we scored the corner table of the patio and a great view of Victoria harbor.
BK got the Classics tasting flight while I chose the Seasonals, but of course we shared so we could taste them all.
Overall, the beers were solid but nothing stood out as amazing. My favorites were the Roggenweizen & the Nut Brown Ale. I wanted to like the Raspberry Lager so much more – it needed some sweetness. I did not like the El Nino or the Saison.
We got dinner as well – they had apparently been quite busy as they were out of several items. Like the beer, the food was good but not amazing, and slightly over=priced – thank goodness for the view.
